The Ray and Lois Strom Geology Scholarship

Established in 2009 by Ray & Lois Strom, this annually funded scholarship was created to assist a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior student pursing a degree in geology. Recipients must have one year remaining in the program of study, have demonstrated financial need and have a grade average of 3.3 or above. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate a passion for the Word of God and the study of geology. Candidates must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if interested in this scholarship. The Chair of the Department of Science and Mathematics in consultation with the geology faculty and Director of Financial Aid select the recipient.
