The Helen Toinette King Scholarship
Established in 2012 by Helen Toinette “Toi” King, this endowed scholarship was created to assist sophomore, junior or senior students who serve as an example of Christ by loving and ministering to people of all ages. Recipients must have demonstrated financial need and a grade average of 2.7 or above. Recipients just have participated in at least 1 University sponsored student ministry through the Division of Student Life and Christian Ministries. Candidates must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)if interested in the scholarship. The Director of Financial Aid along with consultation of the Division of Student Life and Christian Ministries selects the recipients.
